May 10, 2023, the grand opening ceremony of DBG TECHNOLOGY (VIETNAM) COMPANY LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as “DBG (Vietnam)”), jointly invested by DBG, Huaqin, and LY iTECH, and was held in Yen Binh Industrial Zone, Vietnam. Nearly 300 guests, including Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Huaqin Chairman Mr. Qiu Wensheng, LY iTECH Chairwoman Ms. Zeng Fangqin, AP System Chairman Mr. Ling Zhimin, DBG Board Chairman and General Manager Mr. Tong Kin Hing, and representatives of Xiaomi-Vietnam, Nokia, Fuji, Amazon, etc., attended the opening ceremony.
DBG (Vietnam) was registered and established in December 2020, leased two buildings with total 15,000㎡ in Yen Binh Industrial Zone in January 2021. Meanwhile, it purchased 200,000㎡ of land to have 8 buildings with a total area of 240,000㎡, will create 15,000+ job opportunities in Thai Nguyen Province, and achieve sales revenue of 4.5 billion USD. Two buildings have completed with area of 60,000㎡, and the third building with 30,000㎡ is under struction.
DBG Board Chairman and General Manager Mr. Tong Kin Hing said, DBG (Vietnam) was jointly invested and constructed by DBG, industry leader Huaqin and LY iTECH. Its completion and opening means the success and a new starting from its registration and establishment in December 2020. We strive to build DBG (Vietnam) into an overseas manufacturing center with an annual output of 40 million smartphones or various electronic products within three years.
We three enterprises have expectation on DBG (Vietnam) to promote the global layout and will continue to increase investment in DBG (Vietnam) to create the strongest and largest overseas manufacturing base. We believe that with the strong support of the government of Thai Nguyen Province, Vietnam and the help of our customers and friends, our development ambition will come true and we will start a brilliant new chapter!
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee said that DBG has a large production scale and adopts modern environmental protection technology, which aligns with the investment attraction policy of Thai Nguyen Province, government has always supported DBG (Vietnam). Meanwhile, DBG (Vietnam) also provided Thai Nguyen with job opportunities, advanced management experience, and market expansion.
Chairman of AP System Mr. Ling Zhimin and General Manager of Fuji Mr. Koyanagi Yuji expressed blessings on the opening of DBG (Vietnam). Mr. Ling mentioned that DBG is the core strategic partner. DBG and AP System will provide high-quality products and services to customers in domestic and abroad. Koyanagi Yuji stated that Fuji will continue support DBG for a long-term mutually beneficial and win-win partnership.
With flags, drums in the park, a lion dance performance, symbolizing the prosperity, has made the scene lively and ignited the development momentum of DBG (Vietnam)!
With the gun salute, Mr. Tang and all guests and friends jointly cut the ribbon for the opening of DBG (Vietnam), bringing this celebration to a climax and wishing DBG (Vietnam) a more brilliant new chapter.
